Puppy flushed down toilet and survives

Imagine the horror; your young child tells you that he flushed your 1-wk old puppy down the toilet! The 4 yr old child thought that he was going to "wash" the puppy when he placed the infant Cocker Spaniel into the toilet bowl and flushed. When the puppy disappeared, he went to find his mother for help.

The next several hours entailed a frantic attempt to retrieve the sewer bound puppy. The boy's mother started by searching under the manhole cover closest to the bathroom. She could hear the pup, but couldn't see him. Firefighters were then called in, but they lacked the necessary equipment to reach the stranded baby. Finally, plumbers arrived with a camera that pinpointed the puppy's location and they were able to pull him to safety.

The puppy appears to be fine after his filthy ordeal. He is being called Dyno, named after the plumbing company that facilitated his rescue.
